Required skills include:
* Extensive Win 2000/2003 server experience
* Well-versed in setting up Routers, Firewalls, Switches, etc.
* Windows batch job scripting capability (.NET, vbscript, etc)
* In-depth familiarity with TCP/IP
* Lots of experience with Microsoft Exchange
* Win XP & 2000 desktop expertise, must be able to do things like
password recovery, registry hacks, complex device setup, etc.
It would be helpful to find someone who also already knows the following
software:
* Symantec Antivirus Corporate Server
* Veritas Backup Exec
* Redhat
* Novell Servers
It is very important that the person we hire be able to provide for
the business needs of our clients immediately.
We are looking for someone that will require no hand-holding. Someone
that can jump right in and do some hard-core network consulting. MCSE,
CCNA, etc. always a big plus.
